After a pretty chilled week last week our Google keyword rank tracker Google Grump picked up some serious activity over the weekend with the mood rating at FURIOUS and a global figure higher than June 27 (16.59)… the last suspected Google search algorithm update thought to be targeted at sites primarily ranking 6-10.
The spike was seen across every country we track, but the Google rank changes were most significant in the US, Germany and France.
Today Google has calmed down and the Google rankings are showing everywhere as “CAUTIOUS” again, so we will be watching closely over the next few days for any clues as to what’s going on.
Coming so closely after the fluctuations at the end of June could this sudden spike in activity on our Google keyword ranker be a signal of another impending major update from Google …?
