Role Overview

AccuRanker is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Product Owner to oversee the development and implementation of a new product within our platform. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing the project from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Initiation: Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, resource requirements, and budget estimates.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities, facilitating communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, including product development, design, engineering, and quality assurance.

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business goals. Conduct thorough analysis to identify dependencies, risks, and constraints.

  • Resource Allocation and Management: Allocate resources effectively to support project activities, including personnel, budget, and technology infrastructure. Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as necessary to optimize project performance.

  • Project Execution and Monitoring: Oversee the execution of project tasks according to the established plan, tracking progress, milestones, and deliverables. Proactively identify and address issues, risks, and deviations from the plan to ensure timely and successful project completion.

  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Collaborate with the QA team to define test plans and ensure the quality of project deliverables. Conduct thorough testing and validation to verify functionality, performance, and user experience.

  • Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues. Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, presentations, and documentation as needed to support decision-making and facilitate transparency.

  • Change Management and Adaptation: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, assessing the impact on project objectives and stakeholders. Implement change control processes to ensure changes are properly evaluated, approved, and communicated.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, computer science, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager leading software development projects

  • Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project planning, execution, and monitoring

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and YouTrack
