How we calculate the rating
AccuRanker’s Google Grump rating employs a unique algorithm that calculates the average number of rank changes across the top 30 results for ~1,000,000 high-volume keywords. We use our AI Search Volume to identify the most relevant keywords across countries.
We loop all 30 rankings and compare them to the previous day’s rankings. If the URL has dipped or fluctuated, we subtract it from the position it had the day before. We calculate the final index number for a keyword by finding the sum of all differences and dividing it by the number of results.
