Google Carousel

A carousel is a row of clickable cards that often appears at the top of the SERP for certain types of queries, pulling a lot of attention away from the results below. You will commonly see them for things like movies, tourist attractions, recipes, and similar content categories.

Carousels are shown for both informational and commercial searches. Clicking on a card opens a new search results page for that specific query. So if you click on a film in a movie carousel, Google shows you a full set of results for that film.
