Google Flights

SERP Features

What are Flights on Google?

When someone searches for flights to a specific destination, Google can show a flight search section directly in the search results, so users can compare options without visiting a booking site first.

The section includes fields for departure and arrival airports, as well as travel dates, letting users refine their search on the SERP. Each flight listing shows the airline, total flight duration, whether it is a direct flight or has connections, and the price.

The SERP feature takes up a large portion of the page before any organic results appear, which can reduce traffic to travel websites and booking platforms that appear below it.
