When managing a large number of keywords, we strongly recommend tagging them to keep your data organised. Tagging your keywords helps you to categorise keywords into groups, whether these be product groups, services or priority.
In this guide, we will help you set up your tags and show how to filter through them.
For a written guide, follow the steps below.
Go to the keywords list in the respective domain, and mark the keywords you want to tag.
Important note: You can also tag keywords immediately when adding them, in the “Add keywords” section.
Go to “keywords settings” and select “Add tags”.
To add tags, simply type a tag and click the “Enter key” to create the tag. You can add as many tags as you wish. When you have added the relevant tags, simply confirm by clicking on “Add tags”.
To ensure your keywords list only shows or ignores specific tags, select the “Tag filtering” icon and select the tag.
Step 2) Any, All and None
When you select your tags, you have different options that allow you to display tags in a particular way.
Show all keywords, with any of the tags you choose.
Only show keywords containing the tags you have chosen. This is only relevant if there are two or more tags.
Show all keywords that don’t contain any of the tags.
You can remove individual tags by finding the tagged keyword in the keywords list and hovering over it.
To remove a tag from multiple keywords, select the keywords and click delete, then click delete tags. A window will pop up where you select the tags you wish to remove from those keywords.
