Google Knowledge Panel

SERP Features

What is the Knowledge Panel on Google?

The Knowledge Panel is an information box that appears on the right-hand side of the SERP. It gives users a quick overview of a topic without them having to click through to any website.

The information it displays comes from two main sources: Google's own index and trusted, human-edited sources like Wikipedia. What appears inside the panel varies depending on the topic and the search intent.

Google Knowledge Panel on Desktop and Mobile

Google search results on desktop and mobile showing a knowledge panel, displaying key information about a business or entity, including branding, contact details, business information, images, and related actions directly within the search results.
